Great places to eat

There are 2 things I look for every night when I'm travelling around NZ. The first, is a great place to stay, and the second is a great place to eat. There is nothing worse than a lousy meal and a poor night's sleep...and business the next day is sure to suffer.
So, we're looking for some ideas on where to eat, and also what kind of style of food they serve. It would help a lot of people out who are new to a territory if they had a few tips on where they can grab a good meal, and you may try out a new spot or two when you're next out of town.

Yatai on Featherston St in Palmy is really good.
A little out from the square but really great Japanese food.

Nicolini's on Courtenay does the best Italian food, you've got to try the Prawns and the Pescatore (seafood pasta), bellisimo!

If you like seafood then Leuven on Featherston St in Wellington does awesome mussels!

Just had an awesome pizza at Soda Bar in Taradale...ha reading my 2 comments here anyone would think I have a thing for pizzas!

If you're in Hawkes Bay a few places to try are:
Pipis on Joll Rd in Havelock North, doing the best Italian style pizzas in the country, very casual dining.
Old Church in near Taradale, a 5 star restaurant with a very sophisticated menu.
Also Pacifica on the Marine Parade in Napier, fine dining food in a very relaxed atmosphere.
